Mid-Century Italian Murano-Style Glass Floral Centerpiece
Couldn't load pickup availability
A glass floral arrangement, likely Italian and in the Murano tradition, composed of glass blossoms and leaves affixed to wire stems within a molded glass bowl.
The flowers display delicately ribbed petals in soft translucent tones of orange, blue, pink, and yellow. The bowl features a gently lobed, shell-like form that complements the arrangement.
Note: This used to be a lamp but someone cut the cord. It could possibly be rewired but looks just as beautiful without the corded lighting (no tripping over cords, eh?)
Circa 1940s–1950s. Hollywood Regency.
Dimensions (all approx. as the flowers are wired and can take on any shape):
Height: 11.5”
Width: 15”
Depth: 12”
Condition: Minor age-appropriate wear. Paint loss. One leaf that came off the wire (included). One chipped petal. Wire cut. Otherwise great condition.
