Poem:
My purpose is not insult, but true love,
Not the romantic stuff of hill and grove,
But a sincere regard which speaketh plain,
And pointeth out the follies of the vain.
You possess many of the graces rare,
That should adorn and deck a lady fair,
But then your follies like weeds mid roses
All your other charms successfully opposes.
