Antique Battersea Bilston English Round Enamel Box

A Battersea/Bilston round enamel patch box c. 18 century England. The base is a pale pinkish/purple with a hand-painted quote "Lay hold on time while in your prime." Around the quote are handpainted flowers and leaves. The box is in very good condition with general signs of wear. It has working hinges and snaps shut. Approximate measurements: Circular in shape 1.75" across .75" height
